Fran Swain began working part-time at the Center as the GED Instructor and Supplemental Computer Instructor in 1995. In 1998, she became the first instructor of the new Business Systems Technology program.

 

Fran holds a B.A. Degree from the University of Memphis in Production Systems Management. Prior to moving to Paris, Fran worked at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and the VA Hospital in the capacity of Director of Research Programs for Geriatrics.

Fran and her husband, Dr. Jack Swain, have one daughter. Fran enjoys going to antique auctions, gardening, flowers, and fishing.

Lorie Goodgine began with TTC in January  1999 as a part-time instructor for the program. In July of 1999, she became a full-time instructor.

Lorie graduated from Murray State University with a B.S.B. in Finance. Additionally, she received a M.A. in Corporate Communications from Austin Peay State University.

Before joining the TTC staff, Lorie worked as a legal administrative assistant for a local law firm. While there she worked on preparing and bringing to court, cases in many areas of law, including domestic, real estate, and personal injury.

Lorie and her husband, David, have one son.
