MOTORCYCLE/ATV REPAIR

Chris Grissom came to TTCP in 2007 as the Motorcycle/ATV repair instructor after more than 30 years in the motorcycle industry. Chris was involved in the start up of this program that prepares students for this exciting field.

Chris is a graduate of TTCP with a diploma in Small Engine Repair,  which he feels helped prepare him for his career that has included working as a motorcycle technician and eventually owner and operator of Suzuki of Paris, the oldest Suzuki motorcycle dealer in Tennessee. Throughout his career Chris has been heavily involved in racing, both directly as a professional dirt track racer and indirectly as a sponsor, race promoter, and race team mechanic for several big name race teams including Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yoshimura and various other privateer race teams. He still builds racing engines in his spare time for top pro riders, as well as amateur riders across the nation and ships engines world wide.

Chris and his wife Vikki still own Suzuki of Paris with Vikki now the manager/operator.  They have two sons: Cayce, an engineering graduate from Tennessee Tech. in Cookeville and Caleb, a student here in Henry county.

Chris’ love of motorcycles and mechanics, especially making engines go fast, is what fuels his passion. His goal is to share his passion and to influence as many students as possible and to see them continue to carry the torch of excellence.
