Donnie Carson attended the Auto Body Program at Portage High School in Indiana in 1972-73. He then worked in his Dad's body shop for several years before going to work at one of Indiana's largest Chevrolet dealerships. There he started as a painter and then later became assistant manager. Donnie moved to Tennessee to work in his brother's shop. After three years, he accepted the position of body shop manager at Spellings Chevrolet in Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Donnie has been the Collision Repair Instructor at TTCP since 1990. He is an A.S.E. Master Certified Auto Body Technician, a Chevrolet Certified Body Technician and A.S.E. Certified in Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling.

Donnie's hobbies include gardening, landscaping and fixing up hot rods for drag racing.

The mission of the Collision Repair Technology program is to provide education and training to develop
skilled individuals with the proper attitudes and abilities to achieve gainful employment.
