The mission of the Cosmetology Program is to provide students with the knowledge and training to enable them to become successful members to today's workforce. Students will be prepared for lifelong learning in order to meet the ever changing challenges of the community and state.

  • Are you good with your hands?
  • Do you like to be creative?
  • Would you like a career that has never ending possibilities?
  • Do you like to make BIG BUCKS?

If the answer is yes, then Cosmetology may be the program for you.

The Cosmetology Program provides classroom and practical learning experiences that are concerned with a variety of beauty treatments including the care and beautification of the hair, the complexion and hands. This program prepares its graduates for the state licensing examination. For an additional 300 hours, you can obtain your Instructor Training License.

This program also offers the opportunity to work with the STYLES ON VIDEO computer program. This program shows hundreds of different hairstyles and haircolors on a picture of you. You get to fantasize about the endless possibilities of a change in your hair without any risk.

We also offer a Manicurist program.  The Manicurist program contains a minimum of 600 hours of instruction in theory and practical learning experiences.  Learning the art of manicuring consists of instruction in caring for hands and nails, manicures, pedicures, sculpture nails, nail tips, and nail repair.
