holcomb_1redo.jpg (118440 bytes) Frank Holcomb is the Industrial Maintenance Instructor at TTCP.   Frank received a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Memphis and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UT-Martin.  He is a licensed electrician and HVAC service certified.  He has experience in line maintenance and trained in systems start-up and troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. 

Frank's hobbies include fishing, water sports and home maintenance repair.

The mission of the Industrial Maintenance Program is designed to meet both the needs of students and the
needs of their future employers to develop the skill, knowledge and competencies needed to work and grow
in the industrial maintenance field.

The Industrial Maintenance Program is a 1728 hour program. Some of the fields of study in this program are:

Electrical:
Wiring, motors, motor controls, troubleshooting;

Mechanical:
Gears, belts, couplings, alignment;

Programmable Logic Controllers:
SLC-500, ladder logic programming, I/O configuration, troubleshooting;

Hydraulics/Pneumatics:
Systems, components, design

We are using the newest RS Logic software for our PLC program.
