PRACTICAL NURSING FACULTY

Alice McCutcheon is the Allied Health Coordinator for TTCP and oversees the Practical Nursing Program. In 1981, she began her career at TTCP as an Instructor.

Alice graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis. Her nursing career began as an Obstetrical Nurse. She has also worked in Post-operative Care, Coronary Care, Intensive Care, and general Medical-Surgical units as a Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, Unit Supervisor, and Shift Supervisor.

Alice is past President of the Tennessee Board of Regents Practical Nursing Coordinators and has served on several Commission on Occupational Education Teams. At night one frequently finds Alice teaching a computer course at the Center.

Alice has one daughter. Her hobby and (she says therapy) is painting. Some of her favorite watercolors are in her office.

Pat Greer is a TTCP Practical Nursing Instructor. She graduated from Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis as a RN.

Pat's previous nursing work experience includes head nurse of neurosurgical unit at Baptist, CCU unit at Henry County Medical Center, ICU/CCU units at VA Hospital in Memphis, and Nurse Manager of OB Department at Henry County Medical Center. She also is a part-time instructor in Basic Life Support.

Pat has two sons. Her hobbies include playing the piano, art, and traveling.

Rebecca Hergert graduated from West Virginia Northern Community College and has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years. She is currently pursuing a MSN degree. She has experience in critical care, home health, medical/surgical nursing, telemetry, orthopaedics, hospice, and nursing home care. She and her husband, Robert, have 8 children and 10 grandchildren and are awaiting the arrival of the 11th.

Janis Noel is a TTCP Practical Nursing Instructor for the Paris part-time class. She received her LPN from Gateway Technical Institute in Kenosha, WI. She received her RN from the College of Lake County, Grayslake, IL. She is currently attending UT-Martin for her BSN.

Janis is the mother of 4 children and 1 step-son. She has 3 grandchildren, Sa'Mantha-5, Autumn-4, and Joshawa-3.

Her hobbies include reading, scrapbooking and hanging out with the grandkids.

Charlotte Ralls is a TTCP Practical Nursing Instructor at our main campus. She attended Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Nashville, TN for the three year RN program. She earned a BS degree in education from UT Knoxville and completed her master's degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University.

Her work experience includes over forty years of nursing related careers in various work settings.

Charlotte is married with two children and three grandchildren, 1 dog, two horses, and a pony. She enjoys traveling out of town to visit family and competing in horse shows.

Natalie Scates is a TTCP Practical Nursing Instructor at our Weakley County Extension Campus. Natalie graduated from University of Tennessee-Martin with a B.S. degree in Nursing.

Natalie's previous nursing experience includes Telemetry, Home Health, and Mental Health.

Natalie and her husband, Don, have three children and three grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, water sports, avid Tennessee Vols, Titans and Greenfield fan and she loves to go to live stage plays.

Cathy Waters is a TTCP Practical Nursing Instructor. Cathy graduated from Murray State University with a B.S. degree in Nursing.

Cathy's previous nursing experience was at Camden Hospital where she worked 13 years as Staff Nurse and OR-RR Head Nurse.

Cathy has three children and one grandchild. Her hobbies include shopping and swimming.
