MEET THE PRACTICAL NURSING FACULTY
The mission of the Practical Nursing Program is to provide
students with the knowledge and training to enable them to become
successful members of
today's health care workforce. Students will be prepared for lifelong learning in order to
meet the
ever-changing challenges of the community and the state.

want job stability, desire an opportunity to grow, and would like to feel that you have
made a difference for the good in the life of your fellow citizens, then Practical Nursing
may be right for you. The program consists of 650 hours of classroom and laboratory time and 646 hours of clinical practice. Students progress through selected learning experiences, correlating theory with practice under the guidance of qualified faculty. Career opportunities are endless upon graduation. Practical Nurses work in hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, doctors' offices and in industrial nursing. It's not just a job - It's a Career with predicted growth and different job opportunities for both men and women. New classes begin each trimester.
