opportunity in an environment that is supportive and responsive to their individual needs.
Learning experiences are designed to help the student correlate theory with
practice under the guidance of qualified faculty. A Surgical Technologist possesses expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques and combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures and implementation of tools and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. In 2004, the graduating class was recognized as a member of the PAE Elite Twenty Program. This program recognizes the top 20 Surgical Technology programs in the United States based on outstanding student achievement for Program Assessment Evaluation. TTCP ranked No. 12. |
